106) Drawings that come in at one quadra bazillion trillion units from 0,0,0. This really throws my CNC post processor for a loop. Where did they draw this stuff? On andromeda?

It's called state plane coordinate systems and now REQUIRED in many states for survey drawings. If they are using those kind of coordinates in millwork drawings they should be shot!

Don't think I've added my 2 cents worth so here goes.
An idiot IT guy, especialy when he comes to ME with questions about a problem and then solves the problem as though he came up with the solution on his own. Note, that only happened one time. Any other occurances he was told to screw off.

I'll be off-line for a few days as we have reached end-of-contract here.
At the Ostrava office there is a block on .com sites (virus prevention) but soon we start in Trnava, Slovakia for the next contract.

Here's my peeve of the day. The "college graduates" at the head office just called and said they needed an elevation on some water wells on a project that I just completed.They did not need the data labeled on the drawing, just needed to know the elevation of the shot at the well. Understand that I send them my entire project folder e-file. They have the drawing file, the dtm file, the ascii point files, the field book files.....EVERYTHING that is in the file, they have in their STUPID, BOOGER ENCRUSTED HANDS!!!! Yet they call me asking for elevations. I sweetly told them how to insert points and wished them a good day. They just called back and wanted to know when I was going to get them the elevations they needed. Is it illegal to kill an engineer on Friday ??
