At this time, there are still limitations when transferring large amounts of data. Only export essential data.
When you create an InRoads horizontal alignment, the application automatically assigns it a Global Unique Identifier, or GUID. This internal tag helps to distinguish alignments as they are used in profiles, cross sections and the Roadway Designer. When geometry data is developed in CAiCE and imported into an existing InRoads geometry project using the LandXML translator, the XML file does not include any identification for a specific horizontal alignment. Consequently, the alignment that includes updated CAiCE data is displayed in red in the Roadway Designer, resulting in an error in the InRoads Roadway Designer.
Wonder if InRoads has a 30 day free trial? I suppose I would have to have a Microstation free trial as well.
