the only option I could think of was "Point your mouse at 12, and type 8'4-5/8 <enter>

Sometimes the question is more important than the answer. (Thanks Kerry for reminding me)

Yes, but even then, @8'4-5/8 wouldn't work so it would still be wrong, according to the test. And the question didn't say "while pointing your mouse in the 12 o'clock direction..." so I demand to have my score changed to 33 out of 45 :realmad:

agreed, the @ sign makes it not work, plus what you said

I have issues with this one:

Quote
To draw a line a length of 8 feet, 4 5/8 inches in the 12 o’clock direction from the last point selected, enter:

I would have used:

@8'4-5/8"<90

I agree there is something screwy about all their answers.

There are at least 2 incorrect answers in the test ...

#2 incorrectly states that you cannot explode a block with a negative scale ... this WAS true before R14,  but ever since R14, you have been able to explode negatively scaled blocks and blocks with uneven scale factors ... Autodesk NEEDS to fix that one ...

The question about drawing a line at a specific distance in Architectural units from a starting point in the 12 O'Clock direction is wrong ... while the formatting of the dimension they have selected is correct, it WILL NOT produce a line in any direction unless you specify a direction vector. It WILL however, draw a line utilizing the direction vector produced by the angle between the last selected point and the current location of the cursor. Thus if the cursor is at a 45 degree angle (with ortho off) then the line will be drawn at that angle... all of that is presuming you leave off the @ sign .. otherwise an error is generated ...

I also misread the question concerning workspaces ... in my haste I thought it was asking if it was true or false that there ARE default workspaces, not that there ARE NOT default workspaces ...

I don't remember what the fourth one I got wrong was, but it was dealing with something that I rarely use. I wish I could remember what it was ...
<edit> The fourth question was dealing with setting up drawings ... I selected ortho, they said limits ... mine are all automatic anyway ... ever since we had templates, who does that crap anyway</edit>

I didnt even attempt it. The last online test had all feet/inches questions. I have never used them, nor would I know how to input them
Thanks for explaining the word "many" to me, it means a lot.

OH it's easy.  Your own foot is a foot long and your toes are digits of that foot.

It's still a foot long.  Your foot, but still a foot long.

It's a bit disturbing you know the exact measurement.  I can't really say in 38 yrs. I've ever measured my feet.  Guess I don't go to the right parties.  :-D

You may not have measured your feet, but I bet you've measured something else.
