Reasons why Boolean operation fail
« on: November 21, 2019, 06:24:06 PM »
Hi,

I found a interesting fact that BricsCAD makes some subtract function work
It is imported DWG from other CAD software.
AutoCAD :  'description was not provided'

Design is something you should do with both hands. My 2d hand , my 3d hand ..

It would be fantastic if that would be the only problem when Solid Modelling Operations are the issue...
Unfortunately there are many different errors that may occur when modelling and it's not only CAD, but I believe all modelling software you may find for working on...

Just as reminder that it might be a good idea to have more than 1 DWG solid modelling engine.
Certainly in times that exports and conversions of 3D is business as usual. Many different roads lead to Rome..
