yah, if you dont have qview drawings open and try to plot in the foregound, crash everytime, I'm pretty positive a fix didnt make it into the service pack either.

I never have qview open and it works fine for me, providing you follow the rules I outlined above.

We use Publish, here are the restrictions we have found:
  • Prior to 2012, you must turn off background publishing, if you are publishing to a multi-sheet file
  • You cannot have more than 4 tabs per drawing file
  • You cannot have more than 10 viewports per tab, if you are publishing to a multi-sheet file
  • You do not have to use Sheet Set manager, but it helps a lot
I read that with Lawyer voice that states all the limitations for those sweepstakes or drug TV commercials.
Yeah, I could see that, but I find Publish works great if you observe these limitations. It works very well in 2012, they did make a lot of fixes.
I should give it another try.
I + XI = X is true ...  ... if you change your perspective.

I no longer CAD or Model, I just hang out here picking up the empties beer cans

Hmm...I am not sure if I like this tool or not. I will have to try it out for a bit.
