batch plotting
« on: March 09, 2016, 10:50:08 AM »
All,
I am batch plotting to pdf in Autocad 2015. It works ok, after I import page setup from a drawing I have saved with correct setup but my problem is, when I do this to multiple drawings, I get this box that pops up, see attached. Is there a way to save the pdf with filename on drawing automatically? This message slows down the batch processing tremendously! Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
David

Are you using the DWG to PDF plotter included with AutoCAD or a 3rd party software?

The settings would be in the printer properties. I've never used Adobe for printing to PDF so can't tell you specifics but look for something about saving and setting up the file naming and prompting for a file name.
