Changed Setting...
« on: December 09, 2004, 11:23:04 AM »
This is doing my nut in.

My settings have been altered and I can't get them back.

I used to click on items and the grips would show, I could then click on erase and the selected items would be erased.

Now when i do this it cancels my selection and I have to pick the items again.

anyone know how to change this back to my preferred setting?

Setver GRIPS=1?

-----added

Noun/Verb changes the PICKFIRST Setvar, and that should be set to 1, and that "should" solve the problem but you say you've checked that.

it only does this with the macro button commands.

when i select an object and type e on the keyboard it erases it.

This is getting weird.

Just a question, but would the ^C^C at the beginning have anything to do with it?

....IF it exists in your macro, that is...

here is the copy macro.

Code: [Select]
$M=$(if,$(eq,$(substr,$(getvar,cmdnames),1,4),grip),_copy,^C^C_copy)

Thing is it worked before, just not now.

I'm hoping I won't have to re-install autocad :(

Well, it seemed to work for me.  What exactly do you do when you experience the problem?

Select a line (or other object)
THEN select the button?

It worked for me...well, it made a single copy, anyway.
