AutoCAD Version Support

Just a quick one for you.

I know that Autodesk stopped support for ACAD 2000 quite a while ago.

Do you know the oldest version of AutoCAD currently supported?

Thanks,

Bob

OK, let me put it another way...

What is the oldest version that can be upgraded to the current version?

Thanks everyone.

Quick as ever.

Reason for the question. Change of hardware. Transferring licences to new machine problems.

wow, 30% off to upgrade, as if the product is truly 70% better

If the product was so much improved, how or why are those 'other' users still working with those older versions?

And notice the 'hook' is that they force those users into the subscription program for their loyalty.
Be your Best

as far I remember (well just 1-1/2 brain cell left, so...) - Before AutoCAD 2005 you must have a code that you can use, means you can installed an keep using it.

In this place they still use autoCAD 2002 - BTW.

Yes they keep on offering us to upgrade our legacy systems eventhough they told me that I couldn't 5 years ago..

The problem is if the original code was lost by our outsourced IT function.

Then can you also outsource the cost of the replacement license?  :-)

The problem is if the original code was lost by our outsourced IT function.

It generates an installation file (RegInfoACD.html) where the acad.exe is located....
