AMW, Stop shakin' hands with Word!
« on: September 09, 2004, 10:59:34 AM »
Hendie, (or anyone else using AutoManager Workflow)

When I am using Word and hit SaveAs, AMW opens up and it wants me to enter a new card for the document I'm trying to save.  In Windows 2000, this was fixed with the deletion of ODMA32.dll.  This file can not be found on my new XP machine, but I keep getting AMW popping up on my screen when I do a saveas and it's really annoying because it bogs the computer down for about a minute or so.  Any ideas?

Thanks a lot,
Mike

D'oh!
I found ODMA32.dll...I wasn't searching for hidden files and folders or system folders....
Location:  C:\WINDOWS\system32

Deleted it...no more problems :)

Mike,
use the Supervisor menu, select Global Settings and clear the Enable ODMA checkbox.
you don't need to delete the file at all

That makes sense, but it's too late.  No big deal anyway.
Weh we were installing it, there's a dialog box that asks if you want to enable it.  We cleared that box, but it still seemed to enable it.  Guess I should have checked the Global Settings first.  I'll remember that for the next time we have to reinstall...;)

Thanks Hendie!
