I'm here, Mike. Thanks for checking! I'm in the southwest side of Santa Rosa, the majorly hit areas are to the north a few miles and the east a few more miles. Extremely smoky, staying indoors (at home) watching the news. At least 10 friends and family members have lost everything, with more likely to be included as they have been evacuated but no news as to the status of their homes.
Not sure what pictures are being shown to the nation/world, but one of them I've seen on Facebook shows the Coffee Park neighborhood being completely wiped out...this is one of the first subdivision designs I did, and named one of the streets after my 2 year old daughter (she's 38 now).
Amazing how the wind can cause a small grass fire, 20 miles away, to grow to 35,000 acres in less than 12 hours.
