Express Layer Delete

Depending on what version of Acad, Express Layer Isolate, Erase Crossing, Layer Previous

thanks for the ideas- if I get a moment I'll try most of them.

ELOQUINTET:  tried that and couldnt get it to work-but I've never used that command, but it seems ineresting and I plan to explore it more--plus the drawing was old and might have some flaws in it

GOD-- hate filters..............

Lock all layers except the one with the ceiling grid then erase "all". Or "getsel" and erase previous.

There really are lots of ways to skin a cat ...

This is the way I'd do it .

Command: pickfirst

Enter new value for PICKFIRST <0>: 1

Command: qselect

5 item(s) selected.

Command: erase
ERASE 5 found
