Attributes in dynamic blocks
« on: February 14, 2011, 12:50:42 pm »
Can attributes be pasted into visability states
ex. each of my blocks has 5 attributes
if I create a dynamic block of a relay and I have 4 visability states (a different part number for each, each with 5 attributes)
I can get the geometry to change in the visability state but not the attributes.
can this be done? any help appreciated

regardless of block type, don't 'duplicate' any attributes or you'll get yourself in trouble down the road.

another thing, even if you don't plan on moving the attributes around with actions, you have to check the 'lock attributes' field for visibility states too.

edit:  if any actions are to be imposed on attributes, then those attributes must be 'locked', or they won't behave as desired, i.e.: turning on & off between visibility states, or moving, etc.

You should name attributes different in one block. Attributes are possible in dynamic blocks, no problem.
The conclusion is justified that the initialization of the development of critical subsystem optimizes the probability of success to the development of the technical behavior over a given period.
