Civil 2009 Subassemblies

Has anyone had any problems with the "Outside Lane Super" subassembly? In 2008 you could enter a 0.00 depth for the base and have set the subbase depth to say 12". Civil 3D 2009 doesn't seem to like it when I put a zero in the base depth. Anyone else have this happen to them. Is there a better assembly to represent 3" asphalt and 8" basecourse?

Pretty annoying, eh? Someone at Autodesk (who obviously doesn't use the subassemblies) decided to "fix" this for the 2009 version.
You can key in a really small value for the base depth, such as .0001, and that often works.

I was told that the reason for not allowing 0.00 was due to that breaking something else and that was the quickest way to fix it...nevermind that it broke many of the existing assemblies already in use.
I modified the .NET code to allow a 0 depth for the subassemblies I use most often and have not noticed that it affected any other items.
This was corrected in 2010 to again allow 0.00 depths.
