Display Priority

(2D models only) Identifies the level display priority value. A level with the highest priority value displays in front, while a level with the lowest priority value displays in back. Reference and element priority values also affect the display.

Key-in: level set priority <new-level-priority [file:file-spec] level-spec>

I have been told v8 2004 has no draw order due to on-screen entity population being in order of creation. Bit of a joke, but the new versions seem to be updated accordingly.

for setting references as a whole we have been told to use Settings>Update Sequence, from the Reference box. The last in the list has the higher priority.

(Hope I'm not off base with this one)

on V8 2004 it doesn't really do the trick. Not after you mouse over another coincidental element.

V8i has thankfully improved upon this.
