Hi All
In C3D 2009 under Map/Tools you can now assign a local point system under the Arbitrary X-Y Coordinates and in selectable units (Meters/Feet..). I may have missed this one before, but for those who do the Survey side of C3D 2009 you appreciate that this is here now.
In LDC 2009 SP1/Live Update they now have under Drawing Setup/Zone a (No Datum, No Projection) is now available to use.
Important note: Read the Readme.txt before install as they recommend to backup your CUI file in:
C:\Documents and Settings\Admin\Application Data\Autodesk\C3D 2009\enu\Support
for C3D
and
C:\Documents and Settings\Admin\Application Data\Autodesk\LDC2009\R17.2\enu\Support
This should help clean up some of the issues in 2009 of either program. If there are others that have applied this update/sp and have new fixes they are passionate about please feel free to add to this post.
