I received 2 reply notices from CADalog. Does anyone know if they're back up and running? Is it going to be permanent this time?

perchance would those two notices have been
1) directing you to visit here ?
2) informing you about resourcecad ?

no, cadalog isn't going to be back up ~ it's defunct ~ best not to flog a dead horse, especially when there are such interesting alternatives now !!!

Oh, I understand. I hope they stay gone. I was just wondering what the notices were about.

Yes, one of them was directing me to The Swamp and the other was to resourcecad.

I don't think I'm going anythere else for my cad forums!!!!!!!!!

p.s. You should really consider changing your avatar. I have extremely fast DSL and my computer runs slow when your image is on screen.

Why go somewhere else?

It seems that most of the regular posters from CADalog have come here to The Swamp. I find this board more than I could ever need. Even when no one knows a particular answer, more times than not, someone will research it for you and get the answer!

We've got a good thing going here, why start up a new one?

As I understood , the swamp will be the chat place or forum place.
the resourcecad is the commercial place , so both part are on theyr way .
No need to migrate any more
