Insertion Point Cycling
« on: January 08, 2008, 10:52:20 AM »
I've got a number of blocks in which I'd like add "multiple insertion points" and I'd like to use the Point, but I can't find a way to "lock" the point from moving around.  *CAN* the point be "locked" into place?  I just want to use the point as an insertion point for the block - nothing else.

Two options:

1. If you turn off the grip display, can you still use it for inserting? Haven't tried it, but it might work.
2. Add a move action to each point that includes everything in the block. Then they act like regular ol' insertion points.

1.  Would be interesting if it worked that way.
2.  I would go this route.

Ok, I just tried turning off the grip display and the base point no longer works.  So it looks like option 2 is your best bet for now.
