Hi all,...

I work AutoCAD since release 2.0...
each day I lurn and discover many thing in AutoCAD..
think i'm not finished..

But one thing I've discover today..
maybe you already know...but I would like to share this thing with all people
who help me on this forum...

OK,
When you make a PAN with the mouse wheel button, you can also hold the "Shift" key to
activate the ortho ON right ?
but see what happen when hold the "Ctrl" key and try to make a PAN.

(note: you have to push the "Ctrl" key BEFORE making a PAN with the mouse wheel)

If you have any combinason key that I can try also....please let me know.

seeya !
Keep smile...

Neat stuff Andrea.
On my system, Intella Mouse
[Crtl] [Middle Button]  -> Auto Pan
[Shift] [Middle Button]  ->  Ortho Pan
I've reached the age where the happy hour is a nap. (°¿°)

Well thats 2 new things I've learnt today, I didn't know either option was available. Not sure about the autopan but the ortho pan will definately be of use to me. Thanks a bunch.

Another goodie is  the "3dCorbit" command, not to be confused with "3dorbit".

In case you didn't know, the shift ortho mode works with all commands, so if you need to draw a line in orth mode you can do it that way.

Just tried it with plain old ACAD2K.

It works!
