dimension color question

hey guys i was wondering do any of you use different colors for your text and dimension lines in your dim styles. i always did them as one color but some people here want to text to be another color so it's easier to read. the problem i'm having is when i do match properties sometime it makes the text bylayer and other times the color specified in text color. why does it do this any suggestions of a better way?

Have you tried filtering all dimensions and changing the text color in the properties box?

no but my question really is is there a better way of doing this. i am considering just using a bolder font for dimension text insted of another color. my goal is to not have to fix it just lookin for ideas

Text colot is defined in the dimstyle.  Edit the dimstyle and all dims using that style should update.

It can be over-ridden using DIMTCLR.
