Autodesk says it has no plans to make subscription mandatory for AutoCAD.
That's mighty white of 'em. Sounds like they're likely changing to meet the needs of their BIG clients and not paying any attention to the little guys. Ah well...as long as someone out there gets a new Porsche every year...
