Look at it as expanding your horizons. Doesn't hurt to pick up more skills and software knowledge. Makes you more marketable to other firms in the future.
Have you checked to see if there are any graphics software already bundled with your computers?
Sometimes some firms don't really pay attention to what they buy and just simply bundle everything the manufacturer offers.
You may have a photoshop lt or paint shop pro sitting unused somewhere in the office.
Might be worth a look see.
