Topic: Model space and Paper space.

I'm trying to write a decriptor for usage of Model space and paper space.

This is what I have so far, does anyone else have anything they think I should add to this?

All drawings created by any users shall have the main drawing layout information placed in model space, all xrefs,  blocks, dimensions and text specific to the layout shall be plcaed here.

Paper space shall be used for title block information, scaled viewports, revision information and general text. No other information other than this shall be placed on the paper space layout tab.

Pretty straightforward, I think.
We put titles ("Elevation A" , "Section 3"...) in MS.  I think it's easier to see where you're at when editing. YMMV.

Section marks and elevation marks in PS using wipeouts.  Works good for us.

Can you re-word it to remove "layout" from your description of what goes in model space? Since "layout" is what AutoCAD calls paper space these days...

With the advent of "DIMASSOC=2" you might consider dims in PS.........depending on your in-house stds, it might be handy.

The only reason it has layout in there is because our less knowlegable CAD operators still call XREFs layouts.  And they won't let me sack them either
