How do I stop autoCAD creating a viewport in new layouts?

I've done this before but for the love of me, I can't remember the command to stop it.

Tools ~ Options ~ Display Tab ~ adn uncheck "Create viewport in new layouts"


that's for 2000 though but it should be similar in any other version
