copy to clipboard?
« on: August 12, 2005, 06:49:55 AM »
Hi folks,

Is there a way to copy to the clipboard, information that appears on the command line in autocad?

i.e.:   I want to open a drawing list the name (and the directory path if possible) and copy it to the clip board, so that when I open a document schedule I can just paste all of the information into a table.  I want to automate it to a button so a document controller can open the drawing and with the press of a button lift the file name and path and be able to insert it into a another document, thus reducing the risk of typo’s etc.

thanks in advance
