Blocks are automatically renamend and renumbered
« on: July 03, 2024, 11:45:00 AM »
Some weeks ago I worked on an external drawing to prepare it for "Map3D" - a lot of modified polylines, vertizes, changed line direction and so on. A lot of commands, but more or less the simple kind ..

In the drawing there are blocks on the "correct" layer, and the blocks are "block in block": e.g. the block "CDWK_PTTYP10" consists of block "CDWK_PTTYP10000" which consists of some elements.
Approx. 20 blocks with 1400 inserts ..

Today I opened the drawing again and found that I missed / caused an unwanted modification: Every block and every insert is renamed by the system "oldname-PLOTSTYLE-COUNTER".
Now I have 1400 blocks with different names, and every block has only 1 insert. Here are some examples of the names:

Code: [Select]
...
CDWK_PTTYP10-flat-294
CDWK_PTTYP10000-flat-294
CDWK_PTTYP10-flat-295
CDWK_PTTYP10000-flat-295
CDWK_PTTYP10-flat-296
CDWK_PTTYP10000-flat-296
....

Just a question out of the dark - anyone here who have seen this before?
Peter
