Help : I want to know block information in xref

I want to know the information of blocks within an xrefed drawing, such as the block's name, insert point, etc. How can I obtain this information?

An xref is merely a specialised block reference whose block table record references the database in a separate drawing; as such, to obtain information about blocks within the xref drawing, you can simply iterate over the components of the block table record as you might for a standard block.

Are there any books or documents that can refer to the usage or explanation of functions that begin with vl- vla- vlx-, etc.?
I went to Autodesk and found the vla-get-blocks function, but the information didn't come up

When you say "vla-" you're likely referring to the ActiveX interface exposed to Visual LISP - a reference for which may be found here:
