It's possibile with Lisp routine obtain a flat pattern with double inclination angle how in this attach picture.

As a 17 year old got the pencil and paper out for this solution like probably others, there is unfold software out there it may be free or have a cost. Google

yes, look into 'Pipe Development' drawing.

I used to do hundreds (yes, literally :) ) of these in 2D in CAD, I set up template blocks with divisions etc to insert for known sizes, rotated the connecting pipe, did the projections and joined the dots, took all of a few minutes each and were dimensioned easily checkable for the checker.

You will find a lisp routine if you do a search but I never found one the did the dimensioning that allowed for fabrication or checking.
