Customization Files Stored on OneDrive??
« on: May 31, 2021, 02:55:15 PM »
Have there been any issues with storing customization files (pgp, lisps, cuix, etc) on MS OneDrive?   Anything I need to look out for?

I have been upgraded to a new laptop so I am going from Windows 7 and AutoCAD 2015 to Windows 10 and AutoCad 2020.  Also, my company is discouraging storing files (even personal) in the traditional My Documents folder in lieu of MS OneDrive.   I have been out of production CAD for about 6 years now and only use AutoCad from time to time to create sketches or drawing revision during the construction phase if I cant pawn it off on someone.

Thanks

I no longer CAD or Model, I just hang out here picking up the empties beer cans

You can set up 2 profiles ie 2 icons, we had surveyors with laptops so needed to work in the field and work in the office. The profiles would set the support paths so look on c: or the network server.

I mention this in the situation your onedrive is not accessible.
