What file format does AutoCAD 2022 use?

For some reason that info is not readily available on the Autodesk website.

Thank you!

AFAIK it's still the same. To double check, use the SAVEAS command and check the File Type drop down.

I don't have it installed just yet. :-)

The LT users want to upgrade but I don't want to have file compatibility issues. We do work on the same dwg's at times.

Thanks.

I installed plain acad 2022 on a test vm and created you a test file to try to open in the older versions. Saveas still reports it as a 2018 file type.
