Export to Shape File
« on: August 21, 2019, 07:01:18 PM »
Hi all, Is there a box-solution (non-coding) to export Civil 3D data (networks, alignments) to shape files with the ability to customize the data that's embedded in the objects?  For example, if we want the shape file to be embedded with the word "INVERT=XXX", or "THESWAMP=XXX"

thanks all!

Would you be referring to either propertysets or objectdata? If you are using Civil3D, MAP should be installed with it to make those shapefiles. But for me, I like to use the Map Export command.

The object data.  I need to change the titles.

Of course the sample I show here is for properties but the sewer / water pipe networks are exported with their own titles.  I need to control what those say.
