How to Automate AutoCad
« on: September 21, 2017, 04:15:54 AM »
Hi everybody,

I'm new with AutoCad.
I'd like to ask you on what would be the best (or more simple) way to run an AutoCad command from command line.
What I really need is a command showing the list of referenced files inside a dwg file. Can it be done from command line in some way? May be using Accoreconsole.exe? Or it must be done from an AutoCad instance? How can it be automated?

Thank you in advance for your tips.

Regards,

You can get a list of Xrefs direct from the command line by typing this

Code: [Select]
-xref

Reference Manager is what you're looking for.
You can start it from Windows Aplications list under AutoCAD or in AutoCAD with lisp: http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?164118-Select-multiple-Reference-Name-and-set-one-new-file-path-at-same-time&p=1302861&viewfull=1#post1302861
