How to findout all characters for *.SHX font file?

I have *.HX font file and converted to *.SHP
What I am looking for is how to findout all charachters ans special characters for this file?
Is there a way or an application for that

I've got an old one that isn't sold anymore, but there are many out there.  Do a Google search for "shx viewer".
