has anyone ever seen this error?

c:\program files\common files\autodesk shared\achapi16.dbx cannot find a
procedure that it needs.

It does this evertime I select something
 :x

Sorry Ron....never had this one.  I think what Mike is saying is to restart ACAD & see what happens....sumpin might have gone crazy in the proggy.  If that doesn't help, reboot the sys.  Next step might be a re-load....hate that word!

I have seen a very similar error, don't know if it is that exact file or not.
Mine usually happens when i first get into a file while AutoCad is loading.
Usually just ending AutoCad and restarting clears it up. Seems like something doesn't load properly every once in a while...

I installed AutoCAD 2006 and this is when it started happening. I guess you can't run 2005 and 2006 side by side.  :evil:  :evil: I've uninstalled 2006 and did a repair on 2005 and still the same. Guess I gotta start from scratch.

Make sure you manually delete all the folders for 2006 ie. documents and settings, program files folder, and shared files.  Autocad does not do this automatically for you.

I uninstalled and reinstalled and it works now.
