Need Help with Viewports
« on: March 20, 2017, 12:35:45 PM »
Is there a way to copy viewport settings from one drawing to another?

As an example, zoom factor & zoom location, in relation to 0,0.

Cannot copy / paste viewports in LT. - I used to do that in older versions.

How about creating a template file then use LAYOUT - Template?

Dog-gone-it, I stand corrected.

Just for 'grins & giggles', I decided to try the copy / paste the viewport, and it worked fine.

I was obviously wrong, but I could've sworn that I tried it in the past and it didn't work.

Oh well, I'm glad that I tried it.

Many thanks for all of the suggestions.

"Works" may be subjective.  Copy-pasted viewports have typically been turned off and lack a viewcube.  The first is just 'meh' but I find the second really annoying when the viewing direction needs changing.
