C3D: Problem with Plines that contain arcs
« on: February 20, 2017, 09:15:26 AM »
Anyone else having this problem with 2017? I have to zoom into the area of the arc and do a regen to clear it up.

Thanks

Mark, I believe that this can be 'fixed' by turning off the High quality geometry setting in the graphics config.

Yes, I think @Jeff_M nailed it.

There is a KB article on it here: https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad-civil-3d/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Arcs-show-flipped-in-AutoCAD-2017.html?v=2017

Not sure why they don't go into more detail. For example, I suspect if you have a certified display adapter and the certified driver, I don't think this problem crops up, even with the High-Quality setting on.

Thank you Jeff. That fixed it.
