Trial and error I discovered two other things that can be interesting:
;   1   if is Closed
;   2   if is Open   BUT startpoint is equal endpoint   
;   3   if is Closed AND startpoint is equal endpoint 

a) Old ellipse (pellipse = 1) is a type 1 Polyline

b) Why during 3DPoly command you can not capture (osnap) the vertexs of 3DPoly you are creating?
