Objects disappear on view port
« on: October 17, 2016, 10:47:37 AM »
We have a user that is setting up a cover sheet. She attaches an PDF file to use for a vicinity map in modelspace. Then creates a viewport on the cover sheet. But when she draws anything on top of the viewport it disappears. I don't have the same problem on my PC. *shrug*

Any thoughts? I'm stumped.

Thanks

Is the PDF underlay shown in the paperspace layout? Drawing is funky as objects are created "above" the VP but immediately get placed behind the VP.

Yes, through the viewport. And Yes.

Does Draworder help? Set the viewport behind the PS graphics?
Windows 10 Pro 64bit, AutoCAD 2023, REVIT 2023

Is plot paperspace last set differently on each machine?

Yes, through the viewport. And Yes.

That's pretty much how the PDF import was implemented. You may be able to set the transparency of the PDF to see the underlying lines. Beyond that you might need to draft in MS and CHSPACE it into PS, if truly needed.
