Duct Shoe pressure losses
« on: October 12, 2016, 10:09:58 am »
I have 950 errors of no loss defined in duct work shoes, and its slowiung down my model quite a lot.
We use the "Round Shoe Branch - Slip Joint, Standard" family, but there is No ASHRAE table applicable to this object.

How does everyone else get round this, is there a shoe family which does have applicable ASHRAE tables?

Personally, I set a coefficient, when my warnings get high, for all the fittings.

I'm more of a SMACNA/Industrial Ventilation coefficient/loss guy so I haven't opened my ASHRAE fitting coefficient tables in a very long time (open the book and look).
