FDOT State Kit Help
« on: September 26, 2016, 02:55:43 PM »
Anyone using the state kit to create striping plans and quantities from those plans? I have no idea how to get the quantities output to a table or .csv file.

any help is appreciated.

Are there not specific reports for those items in the toolbox?

Not that I can find. I've read and watched all the FDOT material. Nowhere can I find info on striping quantities. Either i'm just to stupid to find it or it's not there. FYI, I have contacted Randy with FDOT via email.

I'm still trying ....

After speaking with Randy on the phone, thanks Randy, it appears the current version of the state kit won't automatically produce the TOQ. With some editing you can use a Linear Takeoff Report exported to a .csv file.

so...they 'fixed' it

so good that it doesn't work any more...
The ability was never there. Excuse me if I made it sound that way.

The state kit for C3D may be rough around the edges but it does work.

Many thanks to folks working on it.

The I retract my comment...and do appreciate all efforts by the fine folks that have worked to make C3D more compatible with DOT work and giving the Microstation camp some competition in that arena.
