GUID named textstyles
« on: July 27, 2016, 12:45:12 PM »
Does anyone know where the GUID named Textstyles come from or why they are created? Usually see them when purging a drawing.
If not familiar with GUID the textstyles will be named something like
{e77b0145-31ec-48a1-8b81-9e9108c45f3b}

Start with a new clean drawing, initialize bedit and close out without saving. Does it appear?

Not sure I follow but initialized BEDIT in clean drawing, and only could open <current drawing> but closed without saving and nothing was added.

For a while (thought it was similar) if you started the BEDIT command a GUID-esque text style was created.

As far as I can tell its to do with using the BEDIT environment and dynamic blocks.

Edit: BEDIT on a blank drawing, added a couple of lines and a move; saved and tested; BCLOSE to return with saving changes.  And there's the text style in the purge dialog.
