StackOverflow Documentation - we can fix the docs!
« on: July 21, 2016, 05:49:26 PM »
This looks like a golden opportunity for us all (yes, especially you Autodesk) to finally fix one of the biggest problems with the .NET API - the mystery novel that is the docs.

See http://stackoverflow.com/tour/documentation and the blog post at http://blog.stackoverflow.com/2016/07/introducing-stack-overflow-documentation-beta/

If you have any StackOverflow reputation we need you to commit to the autocad tag at http://stackoverflow.com/documentation/autocad - there needs to be at least 5 people committed to get started making docs for real devs, by real devs. No offence to Lee Ambrosius intended, he inherited a mammoth task.

Autodesk got people with the smarts to do it, but they ain't put the resources to do anything about it.

I met Lee at AU University and he is a smart guy but for him to get the docs updated to needed level he needs a cloning machine and sh*t load of crystal meth.
