Sweet!

Made me think of that Simpson episode where Homer buys the best the computer its called a  'Super X' or something but on the way home from the store he passes a 'Super X2' delivery truck , then a 'Super X3'. He just driving yelling 'DOH' every delivery truck he passes.

I know that sentiment. It was more difficult than I imagined to balance the 'shiny' with the 'necessary'

What is your thinking behind these two drives?

That case, bad-ass. I want one. :)

The case is very bad-ass. The twin chambers is interesting .. and the cooling is , uhmmm , cool.

If I place my hand near the rear fan I actually feel a chill ... interesting to see how it stands up to one of our summers though :)

I wanted to keep data off the OS drive as much as possible Mark. I'm working on a couple of projects where the data files are extensive and dynamic and don't necessarily cache nicely.

The big ones are for long term storage and archiving and for stuff like tutorial videos and course-ware and for web-site work.

Mine is just called "air moving spinny thingy".

And now that I think about it.... that's a cooler name than "fan".  :-)

Interestingly and surprisingly to me, the SSD is the weakest link.

Are you happy with the box ?

I was considering overclocking the system but I'm not comfortable with the process.

Kerry,

The case is nice .. was very easy to hide all the cables and plenty of room to work. I was unsure of the overclocking too, but Asus provides a nice utility that made it easy :)
