Lines to Text?

If its possible that would be awesome. I have PDF that I have Opened in Adobe Illustrator. I then Exported it to a DWG and opened it in CAD. I didn't know if there is a way to convert the Lines / Splines / Arcs etc into Text. Or if it can match a font style?

If you have ACAD 2017, you can try importing the PDF directly. That may or may not recognize the text.

I have tested a little with 2017 and has always produced the same results as other converters.

The only thing i have done that worked in that situation was convert pdf to image then use raster design to convert it text.

Is it a pain to do that in raster design? What type of programs out there do a great job of conversions?
