I wonder when the time will come for the Civils having to show plants and stuff in plan and profiles so the Reviewing Agencies know whats being built. lol.

Sorry but a couple cities around here were demanding just that way back in the day when I was still doing that work ... usually we had 4 types of trees the developer would choose from the nursery and we would have to place and space at least one or two trees at the front of each lot with reasonably close to equal spacing and "natural" species distribution.

I live in northwest Florida and on site plans the Reviewing agency requires a shirtless meth addict and a almost dead prostitute every 100 feet to meet the "natural species distribution" requirement.

Yes ...  a couple places here in KC are that way also but fortunately there are no L/S requirements in that jurisdiction.  One local redevelopment firm kept trying to hire us to do HUD surveys in there but bossman didn't want any part of it ... kept making bids that specified two full crews for two man jobs.  When they asked why, he explained the extra 4 helpers were to protect the trucks and yell loudly when necessary.

Want to go all gooshy on everyone do a search for "alpha transparent trees" and insert them as images into autocad. Great for cars, clouds, people...anything you want to generate fancy details / exhibits for.
