Navisworks: Raising the viewer in the Z direction
« on: May 04, 2016, 07:12:07 AM »
I do not how to ask this so I am getting conflicting searches results from Google.

I am exploring a Navisworks model by walking or flying around.  How do I raise the viewer in the Z direction as if he is being raised by the hand of God or flying monkeys?   I do not want move in the X and Y direction.

Is there a command that allows for this?
I + XI = X is true ...  ... if you change your perspective.

I no longer CAD or Model, I just hang out here picking up the empties beer cans

Use the Navigation Wheel and select the UP/DOWN button. It will restrict any sideways movement.

Thanks  I am not a big user of the wheel so I never thought to look there.

Normally that's middle button for walk mode.  Not certain about fly mode.
If you are going to fly by the seat of your pants, expect friction burns.

try {GreatPower;}
   catch (notResponsible)
      {NextTime(PlanAhead);}
   finally
      {MasterBasics;}
