Did anyone experience that before, yo nsert 5 blocks with a lsp and the 6th does not show any more, but it is in the dwg database?

Without a sample dwg this is hard to diagnose.
One possible scenario:
The drawings you are trying to insert were exported from a different CAD program. And that program uses a fixed naming scheme for nested blocks inside the exported drawings. So check if the dwgs have nested blocks with the same name but a different content.

If the inserted block resides in paperspace originally............. it will not show up in the current file
