Duplicate Objects Display Thickens
« on: April 25, 2016, 06:47:51 AM »
The more objects the thicker the display. I think it is new to 2016.

I have not been able to find much more than verification that this is a new feature. Help is no help.

Does anyone know what this is called and if there is a variable for it?

See this thread.
Not sure if this was intentional or a goof....

I saw that thread before. It unfortunately does not have a solution for turning off the thickening directly, only that switching the view style does have an effect. It's only a work around.

I assume it is a side effect of the line smoothing since 2016. Because softer pixels are shown along the lines to create a smoother effect, you probably see where multiple lines are over eachother.

If you turn off line smoothing, you also see overlapping lines as thicker lines, but much uglier.
The conclusion is justified that the initialization of the development of critical subsystem optimizes the probability of success to the development of the technical behavior over a given period.

As far as I can determine, it has to do with obscured edges but there is no way to turn it off in 2D wireframe.
