2D ISOMETRIC HELP OR MIRROR LISP
« on: March 07, 2016, 05:52:44 PM »
All,
Can someone help me mirror this iso drawing attached? I need the "tee" on the other side on the same plane. Are there any lisp routines out there that does this. Your help is greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
David :tickedoff:

I tried doing it manually just to see how long it would take. I should have been able to do it in a matter of a minute or three including getting my head around the part. I was going to copy the pieces matching the distances from center and make a few adjustments for new view. It was not as easy as it should have been because the original is not quite accurate.

Thank you for trying Rob. I just thought there would be a lisp routine out there to mirror an isometric. I will keep looking for a solution.

If it were drawn correctly, it would be very easy. I'm afraid that a lisp wouldn't be able to interpolate through the errors in order to give you satisfactory results.

except for the original errors...not fixing them....this was about 5 minutes

one can make it appear correct with a little adjustment

of interest, this type of stuff is often easier to model in 3d, and then extract ISO views from the model
