I'm not sure how it works on the back end but for example...
I can tell the user to
Save the Drawing and the text will be highlighted blue and underlined. The user can then CLICK on the blue text and as long as AutoCAD is active, ^C^Cqsave will run. It works a lot like a hyperlink. We can even assign the selected word or phrase to OPEN a certain program.
For example:
Run TBC would open Trimble Business Center (TBC) when clicked on by the user.
I'm sorry I'm not more versed in the workings but this is the basic premise. Hope it helps.
