Attach External Reference Dialogue Box

Dumb question, Is there a variable to just have AutoCAD Attach an Xref without showing the "Attach External Reference" Box (Where you have to click OK Button) to attach it?

Use "-xref" to use the command line and bypass the dialog box.

I usually just use the "XA" Command. then browse for the file. (I did not know if I could just do that without the box and hitting the OK button. Its no bid deal, I was just doing what I do to much.... ask to much. lol.

That is strange that it does not honor the XREFTYPE variable.  :(

Still not the end of the world if it does not change. Just need to be aware of it. Still quicker than the other ways....
